Finished with your prototype design? You need a microcontroller, a bunch of transistors and some general ICs like a serial level shifter? Now what if we could take care of the component hunting for you and propose to you a good price for them?
The idea behind is simple: while your PCB is being produced we are gathering your components. When PCBs are ready, we pack them all with the components and ship it all over to you. Simple & cost effective for you. That's what we strongly believe.
We are sure you will appreciate our BOM service but before you try it, you have to know a few things. We do our best to get the exact components you want but there are cases where the exact product you want is not available. Sometimes there will be a certain lead time that we will let you know of. Sometimes the component you ask for is obsolete and there is nothing we can do about. In those cases, we will try to propose to you a replacement for it. Finally, it can be that we we will not be able to fulfill your request but we will try our best.
But how does it work? Well, follow the guide:
1. Design your PCB considering the rules
2. Buy a PCB surface from us
3. send us per email at service@tom-ic.com your BOM (consider the format!)
4. While your PCBs are being produced, we gather your BOM
5. We send you a link to our website where you can buy your BOM (once or multiple times) if you agree on the price
6. If the price is not to your liking, just send us an email and we will supply only the PCBs.
